Establishing consent is a corner-stone of ethical BDSM play, but negotiating consent is more complex than just getting a person's permission. Exploring the properties of consent can help us build better scenes, avoiding blind spots in our negotiations and lead us to exploring edgier play. By dialing in precisely what you want to consent to you can have a scene that is deeply satisfying.

In this class we will:
    • Review frameworks for exploring consent 
    • Demonstrate how to build a risk model using consent frameworks
    • Provide examples of play that reflect different consent-based risk models

When this class is over, you will have a personal risk-model for your play that you can use to negotiate anything between casual pick-up play to dark edge play.

Join us as we learn to craft scenes that feature sharps as tools of bondage, deprivation, body modification, fear, absurdity, and pain. We’ll walk through techniques, implements, and placements that safely prioritize carnal and creative suffering. Sharps experience not required but useful; wicked inventiveness useful but not required.

Ever fantasized about being abducted, or held for interrogation by brutal guards? This workshop will explore the various fantasies as well as techniques for creating a successful interrogation and abduction scene. Stress positions, interrogation techniques, mild to wild torture that would never pass the Geneva Convention will all be included in this workshop well as the logistics and special considerations for an abduction.

This workshop will include group participation and hands on skill demonstrations.

Consensual Non-Consent, or CNC, is an oft brought up practice, but rarely is the matter thoroughly discussed nor the potential concerns with this type of negotiation clearly identified.

We will discuss the mentalities at play with CNC, strategies for these types of negotiations, potential pitfalls, and we will have a robust Q&A session.

This class will provide tips & suggestions for the Doms & Tops taking the lead in these negotiations, however bottoms & subs are strongly encouraged to attend!
