There is no one-size-fits-all approach to polyamory, yet ethical and sustainable relationship structures require intentional design. This presentation examines various polyamorous frameworks, from hierarchical to non-hierarchical and relationship anarchy, helping participants assess what aligns best with their values and relational needs. Attendees will explore boundaries, agreements, and power dynamics while learning how to adapt relationship structures over time. Whether new to polyamory or experienced, this session will provide insights for fostering healthy, fulfilling connections.

Think dominance means total control and submission means passive obedience? Not necessarily.

Power exchange isn’t one-size-fits-all. What if the submissive managed the finances, or the Dominant focused on emotional support? In this class, we’ll challenge traditional D/s roles, explore unexpected ways to structure dynamics and perspectives, and help you design a relationship that fits you.

Let’s break the mold and discover new ways to lead, serve, and surrender—on your own terms.

Life seems to be smooth sailing. Our days are full, our life is rich and our play runneth over. If it were not for those few challenges, at work, at home, at the group meeting, we would be perfectly happy. And we just can’t figure out why people don’t return our calls or perfectly reasonable e-mails. What is it with the guy at the meeting that just can’t “let it go”? And why is it that when we get concerned about something, people think we are angry? Let’s spend a little time and talk about what is often our biggest roadblock in the Community-US. How we are handling important parts of our life with a lot more opportunity than expertise.   Let’s sail into a discussion about opportunity in communication and not forget to toss in a lifeline or two about negotiations,  credibility and  transformative leadership, and see if we can get back to some smooth sailing once again.

Power dynamics can creep up on you. First you start as play partners, then things start leaking out of the bedroom and suddenly you have a full-blown dynamic. A lot of us borrow themes, protocols and norms from our fantasies, friends, mentors and even erotica, trying things on to decide what might work for us. In this class, we will provide tools to look inward to find your own architype, define your power exchange needs and collaborate with your partner to build a dynamic that both excites and thrives.

In this class, we will:
• Learn to build a dynamic "your way" that fits your unique needs
• How to decide what to emphasize in your dynamic and how much authority transfer you want
• Explore a framework for building protocols and rituals that fulfill both partners' needs
